"Not what I was expecting"

I was very excited to receive my 5 pack the first one I got an opened up and tried it was very very dry and cracked and could not light wh it took me hours to finish I m down to 2 now I don t know if I could recommend these I love Asylum but these are just not wat i was expecting they kind of tastes like C Chuck and a ok tobacco but the rest of the flavors you can t really describe they don t really have a flavor except maybe like if you took lettuce and put white pepper on it then once you get past the Bandit starts to get a little tiny baby but spicy with a black pepper I don t know if I ll ever order these again but I do like Asylum as a company I do enjoy the Asylum 13 so I was expecting similar but it did not happen and also for the size I did expect a lot more smoke output but you barely get anything maybe it s because of the size you don t taste a whole lot of flavor and but that doesn t make any sense they might have to redo the when a little bit more I know it s s from the factory but still for the price of a 5-pack I don t know about ever buy the full pack maybe they need to make these long leaf but also make them seconds not just chopped up or something I m not really sure I don t know if I can recommend these but if you want to try them

"Best bang for your buck"

I m a big fan of the larger format cigars, 7x70 being the size I prefer to enjoy. I ve tried many though not all that are available, and without question there is no better value in my opinion than these Schizo Maduro cigars. The draw was perfect, the burn was clean and even; none of the ones I ve tried so far needed so much as a touch-up all the way to the end. I will be buying many, many more of these.

The price was right, so I bought a bunch of these. I m indifferent to appearance - it looks like a good cigar. The consistency and burn are really not good. When lit, more often than not, there s a run down one side, so you have 1/2 of the cigar unburned. I have ended up cutting off part of the cigar and relight it so it will burn more evenly. The draw is tight until you get to about the last third. The construction isn t that great either, as I feel like I m chewing tobacco because they tend to fall apart. I thought this might be related to my cut, so I bought a new cutter. No luck. I am not all that impressed with the taste either. After smoking one of these, I fired up an Asylum 13. The difference was remarkable.

I wasn t sure about these at first, but they sounded good and the price was right. I m glad I took the plunge to try them. They are very nicely rolled cigars. They look great, they are nice and tightly wrapped. They smell great, out of the cellophane. Everything you would expect in a high quality cigar. I will say, you must be careful when you light these. The first one I light I torched too hard and got a very nasty burnt taste for the first few minutes of smoking. That was my fault, not the cigars. I ve smoked several more of these since then and have never had that issue again as I m more careful not to overdo it when I light them. Again, my fault not the cigars. The taste is good, not excellent but still good. Draw and burn have been nice and consistent. All of the once I ve smoked so far have been constructed very well also. I ll be buying more of these. These will likely become my new fishing, yard work, etc etc cigar as they are a great smoke, but they are still cheap enough that if something happens to stick while you re doing something you won t mind too much.
