"Wood version is poorly hydro dipped plastic"
The wood version is just hydro dipped plastic. When opening the the cutter you see raw plastic and it looks cheap. The finish is rough.
I’m sure it works fine but the “wood” version looks terrible.

Hands down the best cigar accessory you ll ever buy. Mine s still going strong after 14 years. The only criticism is 56 ring gauges can be a bit of an issue...
