Luminosa Toro
"A great cigar that was either mishandled or old"
As a big fan of Jon Huber and Crowned Heads cigars I was excited to find these available in a 5 cigar set. Unfortunately they were dry and brittle on delivery and despite a few days in the humidor they exploded when cut and were hard and dry to the touch. Despite the condition they held a hint of the pride and flavor that is consistent with Crowned Heads cigars. It would be unfair to rate this cigar as poor knowing what it would have been fresh out of a humidor. The Luminosa Toro is usually a wonderful adventure of mild flavors and prideful construction that shows the hard work Crowned Heads has done establishing their blends and tobaccos for their customers. A great cigar in poor shape.

Normally, I would not spend that much on a cigar. I top out at $4.00. They were good... not $6.00 good.

These don t smell nice, they re flavorless, and a poor overall smoke. These really let me down. Sorry for the bad news. But I will never buy this brand again.

This is a larger ring gauge than I d normally buy, but the deal on them was too good to pass up
Less than $5/stick for an E.P. Carrillo blend for Crowned Heads?? I ll take that every day of the week and twice on Sunday!
Got some good flavors off the CT Shade wrapper and found that it really went well with my Black Silk dark roast from Folgers fantastic blend btw
