"A few bundles in, these are sooo tasty"
I bought a whole bunch of these based off the fact that they re made my Aganorsa Leaf, aka Fernandez. Not AJ I love their leaf and especially their wrappers. These are no exception.
The pre light aroma on these is amazing. A perfect mix of an odd combination of barn yard and sweet floral notes. Very enticing aroma that makes me want to cut and light right away. Construction has been running from good to very good. The cigar burns very nicely with a nice draw 90% o the time. The other 10% Ive been getting some tight ish draws and those tend to burn unevenly. Smoking these nice and slowly is the way to go.
The flavor profile is pretty darn impressive with notes of white pepper, lots of various spice, and a slight floral taste. These are a solid medium plus bodied cigar right outta the gate and the best part is they remain that way right down to the nub.
These taste as good or better as most of the many favorite cigars I smoke. This particular flavor profile in very unique to Aganorsa and i get it from many of their cigars in all price ranges.
I highly recommend these if you like a tasty cigar with some stoutness to it. It s a huge winner in my book. Another great house stick from the great Famous Smoke Shop where Team Arthur is always out there bringing the good stuff to us cigar smokers.

"Tale of Two cigars"
On a recent treasure hunt to find some affordable cigars to fill in for those going way up in price, I started at Famous. Why, Nic. 3000 s from back in the day. There s never been anything like those very early Nic. 3000 s ever since. I smoked a few thousand of them for sure. But i digress....
I bought some Nic 1000 s, Nic.4000 s Nic 5000 s and Nic 6000 s on a recent order. I bought anywhere from one bundle to 5 bundles of each on my initial order and have already reordered 5 more bundles of the 4000 s and 5000 s. See my reviews and you ll know why I did.
When I looked at the initial bundle of 6000 Toros through the cello, I thought to myself, these are nice looking cigar. When I removed one from the bundle and the individual cello, the pre-light aroma was MONEY. They were just off the truck and the aroma oozing off that pre-lit cigar was perfection. That classic barnyard and raw tobacco aroma I ve loved for 40 plus years. The wrapper color on the cigars were a tad SUS, as some were just a gorgeous medium dark classic Corojo color, while others had an odd tint of orange to them. I cut it and fired it up. The first inch of this cigar was dynOmite. Packed a wallop of spicy white pepper and all kinds of spices with some nuances of cedar. Then that all went away and it turned into a rather plain Jane tasting Plain Jane cigar with a light medium overall kinda generic flavor profile. Not bad mind you, just nowhere near as good as that first inch. The BIG disappointment for me was the terribly uneven burn and the flaky as heck ash.
Then I thought, hey dummy, put them away for a couple of days and re-try a few.
I did just that and have had mixed results. I smoke a lot of cigars on the daily, so I got to try a few of these per day to arrive at my review here
The best examples were well rolled, firm in the hand and burnt evenly, though they did not stay lit for long when set down. The flavor profile on the best examples is not quite as oomphy as that first one I tried off the truck, but still, a solid medium to slightly plus with nice white pepper, allspice, and cedar hints. Not a very complex flavor profile, but a very pleasant one that happens to be in my wheelhouse in the best examples. In the other examples, the flavor profile remained somewhat similar but clearly toned way down. The big issue in the other examples is poor burn and a flaky ash, but also the very annoying squishy feel to the cigar once it s lit. These are clearly seconds, and not just on the surface. So in my first bundle of these, I d say 50% wre really nice and tasty, with a nice even burn. A great value in the best examples from this bundle. The other 50% rnged from way too under filled to very tight draw that even a good draw poker wouldn t fix. I ve never tried any of the cigars from this factory before as I m a 99% A Fernandez guy and have been since he got on the map. Overall, I think a few months to stabilize these in the John-a-Dor may be helpful. These have a ton of promise, I just have to wait and see if the hands of time. LOL, helps these value priced sticks out. So for now, I can only give them 2 1/2 stars. Maybe in 3 months they will have come around to a point where 80% ae good to go. in that case I d go 3 1/2 to 4 stars. My bundle is a sample of just 20 cigars, so I order more to be fair and give them an equal opportunity with the other Nic Series from Famous that have delivered stellar results more often than not for me.
I can t recall if I already submitted a review on these. I didn t see one so this is what I got. A lot to like here, but could use some time to stabilize for sure.
As always fast and efficient service from Arthur s Magical Warehouse full of goodness. Thanks Team Famous, long long time customer and they just get better with time. #Skatesrocks\

"Overrated indeed"
I’ve worked my way through most of the Famous brands offered and this 6000 had been one of the worst. The flavor is good but this bundle has been plagued with a lot of tunneling sticks that don’t stay lit and required continual relighting. Forget about getting to the end of the smoke.
My suggestion is to pass on these.

"Great cigar for the price"
I just received a bundle today and am smoking my first cigar. Admittedly the sample size is small, but I ve got to say this is one nice cigar. It has a toasty, slightly spicy flavor which I really like. The construction is good as is the draw, and the aroma has a pleasant sweet note. I ve smoked many $10 to $15 cigars, and I have to say that this is as good of a smoke as many of them. Certainly a good buy.

"Not very good at all..."
Tobacco tastes very young. Acidic and harsh. Construction appears good at a glance, but half the cigars I smoked in this bundle either fell apart or were plugged. Now I grab anything else in my humidor as an excuse to avoid smoking any more of these. You ever have your friends get angry at you for giving them a FREE cigar? That s how unworthy these sticks are. Who knows though, maybe they ll be good with a year of age? We ll see...I m giving it two stars only because of the price.
Having smoked the Brazilian wrapped maduro offerings from Famous recently, I would recommend not getting these cigars and instead go for the maduros.

"Not bad BUT"
not all that great. Construction is lacking; lots of unraveling at about half way through. Not bad for the money.

"Can t beat the value!"
These are definitely my go-to value bundle these days. Just bought my 3rd bundle and flavor/strength is definitely on the medium maybe even mild side but it really does have a nice flavor profile. Definitely not $10 cigars but they sure don t smoke like $2 cigars either. 9/10 for a daily smoke.
