"Leave this alone"

This is a rather flavorless cigar with a burnt taste and burning wrapper that falls off. Not sure of the filler but it will help you find a good cigar.

I had been away from cigar smoking for about 9 years. When I decided to return, I logged on to FSS. These were highly rated. Deservedly so. Mild but not boring or bland flavor. Every puff has a great draw and lots of smoke. Very good construction, which is consistent with each cigar. Just a great cigar.

I was pleasantly surprised smoking this cigar. Smooth draw, mellow taste and even burn from star to finish.

If you re a Connecticut fan this is one of the best. Plus the price is right. Straight forward and satisfying. Constructed well and never needs touch ups.

"Very Mellow, Morning cigar"

First review, have just started smoking cigars regularily and haven t really nailed down what I like so Ive been trying to find mellow cigars, start simple. but have been buying Connecticut and realize, after reading up they are toward the full flavor side. So to the point, this is the most mild cigar Ive had and exactly what I was looking for to find out...it is really mellow. I mean creamy and nice but after a bourbon or a big meal dont know if this will cut it. my last 2 or 3 burn my finger puffs weren t bad and actually tastly...again to show how mellow they were. So, its a great breakfast smoke but not the best with a few drinks. That all being said. I m buying a box, will always have some with for friends who don t smoke a lot because its the perfect mild cigar. Might have one or two in the am.

"I will not purchase this cigar again."

On every cigar I smoke from this box the rapper cracks and starts to peel off the cigar before I am half way through. I also am not a fan of the taste either.

"Was very disappointed"

The Box, individual plastic wrap and visual appeal is attractive! However when you take off the plastic wrap and hold a 4in. match and light? The beginning is ok. Even slow burn,. Aroma is ok. But the middle 2/3 s of the cigar smoke and taste is disgusting. Perhaps the worse cigar I ever purchased. I m hoping 3-4 months in my Humidor will restore balance? But if it doesn t I ll give them to people I don t like. Nope, I ll throw them away...there s nobody I dislike that much!!!!

"Mild, easy smoke"

Sometimes you want to splurge for a Morton?s prime dinner. Other times, you hanker for an In-N-Out burger. Not the same, but satisfying given the moment. Today I smoked a Cuban Cohiba Robusto. That?s my prime rib. Yesterday I smoked a DonTomas Special Edition Connecticut robusto. A very tasty hamburger. Not sure why some reviews of this cigar are so negative. Believe me, I?ve smoked doggie doo-doos and this is not such. Check out the reviews for other sizes of this Don Tomas cigar ? positive for the most part. The Don Tomas robusto is a loosely-rolled cigar, easy draw, lots of smoke per puff. The Connecticut sun shade wrapper is unusually light in color, which is what caught my attention. As you smoke, there?s a very subtle background flavor note, which grows stronger as you smoke. Regular smokers of medium to full-bodied cigars would probably not even taste this. In sum, depends on what you?re hankering for.

"Tasted Like Garbage"

I used to smoke Don Tomas years ago and it was considered a good cigar. I bought a box and when I lit the first cigar, it tasted like I was smoking garbage. I thought maybe it was a bad cigar and lit another and again tasted like garbage. I threw the whole box away. I will never buy Don Tomas again.
