"Charter Oak review"

I received a box of Charter Oak a little over 3 weeks. Typically, when I receive cigars from Famous, I am able to smoke immediately without them having to sit in my humidor. I burned a Charter Oak once I received the box and the wrapper started to peel and crack during the first time third of the cigar. I let the box sit in my humidor for a while and I am still facing same smoking experience. The entire wrapper peels off during the final third of the cigar and I have to stop smoking. I am not pleased with this purchase at all.

A pleasant easy drawing medium smoke. I dunno, maybe my palate is shot but I was not not getting cocoa, coffee and cream and baking spices whatever the hell that is . To me it was a woody smoke reminiscent of the old H.Upmann blend that has been around forever. The cigar burned nice and the flavor was consistant throughout. This was the first of a 5pk that was smoked after a week in the humidor. I ll give them a couple of more weeks and up date my future experiences with this blend.

This was a great first cigar I loved the hints of cocoa and natural tobacco and the slight sweetness!

Very nice medium strength cigar. Lots of complexity and nuances.of cocoa, coffee with creme, and baking spices. As I have only smoked one I cannot gauge consistency. But, so far so good.
