"Terrible cigar"

First time in a long time that I ordered the 858’s. Quality is one of the worst cigars I’ve smoked in a long time. What happened to this cigar? Used to be top notch. The roll wasn’t firm at all. Smoked very uneven. The cigar fell apart about half way through. Also very harsh. Really disappointed in Fuente to even let a cigar thus bad out of their factory. I will never buy again, it wasn’t just the first cigar in the box either. It was also the next two! Garbage cigar. I definitely don’t recommend.

Good draw and flavor. Like the Cameroon wrapper. Had trouble with the wrapper unraveling on the three I smoked.

I have purchased many of these cigars, the 8-5-8 naturals and while they taste great and have a mellow aroma, the build of the cigar leaves much to be desired. First, about 85% o them do not light evenly. There always seems to be a cold spot or two after lighting and then they do not burn evenly. . . you end up with a fingernail like configuration on the cigar. From this hot ash may drop off and ruin a good shirt. Even when the cigars are kept cool and in a humidor the wrapper cracks like old newspaper left in the desert sun. And the wrapper has a high propensity to unravel. About 50% o the sticks, you get what I call the back draft effect where extremely hot smoke and gas comes down the middle of the cigar like a Roman candle. I have reached out to A. Fuente s customer support about these issues but have never hear back from them. It was always my hope that I received a bad batch for over the years this has not changed. There for I cannot recommend this cigar.
