"Disappointing is an understatement!"
This is the worst cigar I have ever attempted to smoke in my 30 years as a premium cigars smoker. I wont go into to detail because it was the worst cigar in every category by far! Other than its appearance which makes you think it will be outstanding. It’s beautiful! It reminded me when I was a kid, I snuck a chew of my grand fathers elephant butts and became ill for 2 days. After attempting to get a quarter way through this cigar it left the taste on my pallet as though I just spit out the elephant butts and that is putting it nicely. Funny thing was the presentation is 5 star that’s why I gave it 1 star overall. REALLY REALLY REALLY a BAD cigar! This is the first time in all my years of ordering through Famous that I gave a bad review on a cigar. But i have to keep others from making the same mistake I made on this one!

"Good smoke"
It s a good smoke, not great but good. I ve had better AB cigars, this cigar didn t burn well unlike other AB I ve had. I d give it a 5 on a scale of 10.

"Powerful"
Well, everything about these cigars says AB...the construction, burn, draw, apprearance, but not the taste. While most AB's are smooth smoking complex full bodied beasts, this is more of a teenage version on steroids. None of the grace or complexity with all of the brawn and a bit too aggressive. I think that about sums it up. They might need a year or two of box time. Maybe infuse them with a cognac in your special box.

"Nicer than expected"
Reviews weren't always that great about this cigar, but I finally got one in a sampler and have to say it was nicer and much better than I expected. Smoked this one right out of the box, so it was a little too moist and may not have experienced the full flavor. It was a very nice cigar; subtle flavors, nothing fancy like Tempus or anything like it. I think I would compare it with a Gran Habano Corojo #5 with a dark wrapper instead of a corojo. Halfway through it started burning really nice and tasted some sweetness and sared geting more creamy I think. Out of the box, I would rate it a 7.5 and am probably buying a box of 10 and let them accomodate a few extra weeks in my humidor. I am sure they will be even better.

"Occasionally a hit, but too often a miss"
This smoke has got to be one of the most frustrating love hate relationships I've ever been involved in. One day they reward with a mellow complex smoke that really makes me stop and say "WOW, that's why I smoke these". Other times I wonder why I'm wasting my precious cigar smoking time on these nightmares. Some are nicely rolled and burn beautifully, with a perfect draw and volumes of smoke. Others can be so soggy I can just about fold the ammoniated suckers in half. Yup, I think I'm done with these. Look for them on a clearance shelf near you. "Life is too short for a bad cigar".

"Great"
I bought 10 on Monster and when I lit it up the aroma was perfect. In fact, the cigar was great from beginning to end. I am surprised by the bad reviews.

"Not for me"
while the flavor is good, it is not worth the terrible burn and loose ash. even after letting a few sit for over a month, i still had the same results. i won't be buying these again.

"Poor Construction"
Very loosely rolled. I had a terrible time with it tunneling. The flavor was good, not great. I let it die less than halfway through because the wrapper would not burn.

"Let em' rest"
Initially the cigar had an ok draw, an ok flavor, an ok to mediocre burn. I smoked 4 in the first month of having them then was fed up. Allowed them to rest 2 months and the cigar as a whole was much better. Good draw, good flavor (mild note of chocolate, earthy, and coffe.) and decent burn. Final conclusion: a decent cigar, but did not make the list. There are better maduros out there.
